Write the run down the day it happens

The research week is usually fine. Monday morning is the problem.

By Friday the run finished, the paper got read, the student hit a blocker. By Monday none of that is in one place, so the hour before group meeting is spent reconstructing a week that already happened.

The useful habit is small and unfashionable: log the outcome, the blocker, and the next step the same day the run ends. Not a full notebook entry. Three lines. Do it while the details are still cheap.

If the lab already does that, Monday is an assembly job. If it does not, Monday is archaeology, and no amount of meeting-agenda software fixes it.

ResearcherFlow can draft that weekly writeup from the experiment log and the papers you already imported, and it will not write anything until you approve it.
